Good Morning Astro-Logic Lovers: 1st question: why Beyonce? "Bow Down" though? I mean, this doesn't really fit my personality (if you know me superficially that is)... 1st answer: Not my favorite singer, although I've always felt eerily drawn to her. I don't support her style, nor do I like what she represents in her music (hey, that's just me, all Bey-once lovers, don't shoot me)... ...BUT nonetheless, I am still magnetized by something I just can't put my finger on. So, I went to the wheel and did some research. Turns out, me and Ms."Once-a-Bey" have the same MOON SIGN. And, it's a Moon sign is extremely magnetic. It's deep, hidden, passion-driven, and extremely intuitive. At it's worst, this Moon placement can be callous and vindictive. At it's best, it is soul regeneration and the inner strength to overcome challenges. Sensual, some say seductive (eh, semantics). And, this Moon is well-versed to communicating with the ancestors. ...Did you figure it out yet? I'll give you a minute... Scorpio is my Moon sign, at exactly 7 degrees. So, perhaps I am drawn to that part of her that is really apart of me.
Remember, the Moon rules over our emotions. So we tend to harbor and sulk in our feelings. In typical water fashion, Scorpio Moons take on everyone else's energy if not careful. So they tend to spend a lot of time by themselves...which is a good thing in these days. Hermetic indeed. Scorpio Moons tend to be secretive in nature. They are drawn to the occult and other hidden, "forbidden" sciences. Their egos bruise easily, but they are so dynamic, they (and other ppl) forget this little faux pas. I choose this song "Bow Down/I Been On" because I feel like this is Beyonce's inner Scorpio unleashing itself. We don't do this very often, although it seeps out despite efforts to keep it down. ...but, uh, yea- that's me...All Day...I been on a lot of things that I keep to myself until the time is right. Dynamic...magnetic...psychic...sensual...a brooding type, but can transform mySelf accordingly... Yes, Bow Down to the (Inner) Queen. Ashe, S.Bey PS: I say all this as a Scorpio Moon myself, and with a mother and older sister with Scorpio Moon. If this is your Moon sign, I feel for you, because there is a lot of emotional ups and downs. Traumas and dramas. But you overcome, and for that, I commend you. What's your moon sign? Where is it on your chart?

As of 7:32 AM (EST), we have come into a Full Moon- and guess what? It's SUPER! Honors to you all for expanding your Self by building your knowledge. We are all on this Earth realm to re-member yourSelves. The story of Ausar and Auset is symbolic of what we go through when we choose to come back to this place. Ausar was dismembered by his brother Set, who separated his body into 12 pieces. Aset, the feminine principle, was devoted to her brother-husband and put him back together. What does this have to do with the SUPERMOON. In actuality, it is called the perigee moon. The perigee is the Moon's closest point to Earth. This is the closest the Moon will be the the Earth all year! The moon will not be this close again until August 2014. A SUPERMOON is in effect when there is a new or full moon that is at or near the closest approach to the Earth. Thus, the Sun, Moon, and Earth are aligned. Astrologically speaking, this Summer Solstice Super-Full-Moon is bringing a sense of balance through discipline. The Full Moon and SuperMoon aspects illuminate the type of energy being expended. As stated in a previous post (and will be discussed moor in tomorrow's post), the Moon represents emotions, intuition, and nurturing- this is our TruSelves.
With the Moon in Capricorn, the hidden/inner Self is all about self-discipline. We have to master our emotions, which is beautiful because the Sun is in Cancer (emotions). So we are to express our emotions, but be sure to do so in a constructive manner. A Capricorn Moon is often considered to be a debilitated or in detriment. However, I love Earth sign moons because it brings much stability and logic to my wavering inner emotions (hmm, still hav yet to reveal my moon, but stayed in-tuned for tomorrow's blog). My suggestion- the new or full moon is a good time to make affirmations. Get some paper and into a peaceful space.
Just like any other detox, it may be trying at times, because you have told the Universe/God that this is what you seek to release. There are entities that do not want you to release because your downfall is their uprising. But maintain your affirmations daily, visualize your goals, get into those mantras, and do the WORK!! Lov n light on this new week, Selah As of 1:04 am, summer has officially begun! The Sun will have moved to the highest point on the zodiac wheel, and we will experience the wonderful change- from spring to Summer. This is called the Summer Solstice. Solstice: mid-13 c., from Latin solstitium meaning "point at which the sun seems to stand still". Sol (sun) + sistere (to come to a stop). A solstice occurs during the Summer and the Winter (Cancer and Capricorn, respectively). The summer solstice is when the sun remains at the Northern Cardinal Point (like a compass) for 3 degrees, making it the longest day of the year. The sun appears to travel around the natal chart throughout the year. It begins on the Eastern horizon in Aries (Spring Equinox), travels north to Cancer (the highest point on the zodiac wheel), descends to Libra (Autumn Equinox), from which it continues to descend to it's lowest point- Capricorn (in the South); and then it ascends back to Aries and does it all over again. This is evident through the four season that we experience on this landmass. While Spring was the time to plant our seeds of thought....Summer is the time to allow these ideas/thoughts to allow our ideas to grow. We tend to them, nurture and nourish them, and allow them to flourish. We begin to see signs of them, just like the fruit, leaves, and flowers that we planted during spring.. (agriculture is represented in our own nature; that is how cosmology works- so above, so below) Cancer is the sign of nurturing; it is the Mother of the Zodiac. It represents domestic affairs- home is the haven. It is a water sign, which represents emotions and feelings. It is the first water sign, and it's modality is Cardinal- it is a leadership energy because it brings in a new season. Cancer is ruled by the Moon (the soul). We will experience a Full Moon on June 23- it will be in the sign of Capricorn, which is Cancer's opposite/complimentary sign. Cancer is home to the 4th house- domestic affairs, endings, the nurturing parent; and property. Cancer is the Galactic Center (as I learned from the honorable Noble Anpu, my astrology coach). I interpret to be true, as the Womb is the Universe- all matter is of the Womb. In fact, to be in material form is to be the feminine energy. Think about it- matter-mother? Etymologically, speaking, matter in Latin is mater- which means, origin, source, mother. This is the energy that we have just entered. Honors to the ancestors. For the portal to see and hear them is moor open at this time. With the Moon in Capricorn on June 23, there will be an opposition between that which is on the surface and that which is hidden. The emotional energy will feel highly regulated, while the general, exterior tone will as if it is flowing with the natural tides of life. Inner stand then that wherever the Sun and Moon transits your own natal chart is where you will feel these affects the most. For if the stars and planets affect the weather/environment, what makes one think it does not affect us? I leave the last two blank because I want to see if you anyone can tell what they are based the above description. First person to respond accurately (by 12pm) will receive a free reading of the Holy Trinity on their chart... What is the Holy Trinity? As mentioned on previous pages, we are influenced by the energies of all the luminaries bodies (planets and stars) in the sky. Each planet/star has an energy that is magnified and affected by a particular constellation. Thus, I am a Cancer sun sign because the Sun was in the constellation of Cancer when I was born. The "Holy Trinity" consists of your Sun sign, your Moon's sign, and your Rising sign. The rising sign is what constellation was on the eastern horizon of the sky when you drew your first breath on earth. (See the example below*) * Note: most astrological charts are shown upside down. The left side represents the east and the right side represents the west. What does each aspect of the Holy Trinity reveal? Moon: your true self; your soul; this is where you feel the most comfortable. Also represents emotion and intuition; this is mother energy. Rising Sign: your personality; how you express your true self. I like to say it's how people first perceive you before they know you. Also represents your defenses. Sun: general character of your true self; where you shine the most. Also represents vitality, creation, and life; this is father energy. The chart above is for a person born on June 11, 2013 at 7 pm. I will analyze their Holy Trinity: - Moon in Gemini: at their core, this person feels comfortable with intellectual concepts; they are a natural communicator and very friendly. - AC in Sagittarius: this person expresses their selves in a blunt and very direct manner (notice the glyph for Sagittarius is the arrow; straight and to the point). This energy is generally optimistic, but when angered, their tongue becomes their most dangerous weapon. - Sun in Gemini: this person's general character is friendly at its best and indecisive/hard to keep up with at its worst. ...astrology basics to better know your Self..
