Today, the Moon is exalted in the sign of Taurus.  In an exalted position, the planet displays its most favorable attributes.  What does this mean for the Moon, and what does this mean for us?

Personally, I love a Taurus Moon because it balances our emotional energy.  Remember, the Moon is emotions; it rules over the tides of Earth- that refers to this planet Terra, and ourSelves, for in the microcosm of life, we are all planets.  And our emotions represent the tide.  Taurus brings us patiences, calmness, and stability.  And most of us need moor of this in our life.

Of course there is a challenge (if there wasn't, would we even be on this Earth?)- The Moon squares the Sun:: the Sun in Leo wants to bring warmth and illumination to everything.  The Moon is naturally introverted/the soul, and it just wants us to be stable and patient.  Really, not that big of a challenge, but as we know, fire is far from patient.  To make the best of both energies, utilize the Sun with regards to your outer life- share ideas and be creative.  But with the Moon, be sure to check yourSelf and let your creativity be executed in patience (not haste).

There will be a new Moon on August 6, 2013.  This Moon will be in Leo.  This is a good time to be creative.  All those creative ideas that come to us- it's best to execute it with the New Moon.  Just like Luna, our ideas will swell, making them easier to manifest/come to fruition.
